3 A.M. Friends

Thursday evening, March 1st, MOPS/MomsNext-Waterbury Mission (moms of preschoolers & school aged kids) will meet to discuss our next topic: “3 A.M. Friends”. Whether you are an expecting mother, a mother of babies, toddlers, preschoolers or school-aged children, you are welcome to come join us. This week we will watch a video from author and speaker, Annie F. Downs. She will share from her most recent book, Looking for Lovely, ways to persevere when things get hard. Annie will explore the importance of having a friend you can call on at 3 a.m. Having such a friend, she believes, is one of the things that helps us face and navigate the hard times in life. This video will encourage and provide practical tips on how you can find and be that inviting 3 a.m. friend.

MOPS/MomsNext meets in the Thatcher Brook Primary School Library in Waterbury. We gather at 6:45, video and discussion begin at 7:00 and the meeting concludes around 8:15pm. Childcare is always available. Please notify us at waterburymops@gmail.com if you plan to bring your children.

So, why do we meet? Because this is motherhood and together we can change the world in all the best ways!
