Hope you can join us Tuesday, Feb. 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Pownal Elementary School Library for an opportunity to hear from and chat with the candidates running for town offices. The format of the evening will be: each candidate will have 3 minutes to introduce themselves, how they have served the community in the past, what skills they bring to the position, and their aspirations and goals if elected. We appreciate that CAT-TV will record this portion of the evening making candidate comments available for those who could not attend.

Following the candidate comments, light refreshments will be served and participants are invited to mingle and chat with the candidates. The evening's event is sponsored by the Friends of Pownal, a Vermont not-for-profit organization whose mission includes fostering communication and understanding among the residents of the Town of Pownal.
