During this 6 week after school program at Bent Northrop Memorial Library, we will be exploring how things work through tinkering. Our tinkering program is about hands-on experiences, learning from failures, and unstructured time to explore and invent. We will learn how to power lights and small motors, sew with scraps, and engineer mazes. We will also discover what's inside our toys by taking them apart, and use those parts to create new re-imagined toys!
The program is for children in grades 3 - 6 and will have six sessions from 3:15 - 4:30pm on Tuesdays from March 13th - April 17th.
Space is limited and registration is required. Please register by filling out the form found at https://goo.gl/forms/3EwEPHtV5pbiOkxJ3 or calling the library at 827-3945.
This program is free thanks to a grant from United Way.
