Jack Lazor of Butterworks Farm in Westfield came to Vermont as a back-to-the-lander in the 1970s and has built a loyal customer base for his organic yogurt, butter, kefir, corn meal, and other products. He’s also learned a lot from the land he’s farmed and taught many young people who want to get into farming. He’ll share some of the lessons he’s learned about keeping food local and giving back to the soil.
