Film/Discussion About Wind Energy in Vermont

Past event
Feb 22, 2018, 6:30 to 8 PM

THURSDAY, FEB 22
6:30 SHOWING of Wind: A Struggle for the Character of Vermont
at Bristol Cliffs Cafe, 16 Main Street.
The film explores the polarization that has happened all over the state in response to large-scale wind energy projects.

DISCUSSION TO FOLLOW FILM!
The screening is timely for:
1. Getting out the vote for the Town Meeting Day Resolution that relates to Vermont’s renewable energy goals,
2. Considering the choice Bristol has to construct a natural gas pipeline. It was acknowledged at the Gas Forum/Select Board Public Hearing Feb 12th that the gas project is not a "done deal", and have been invited to give our voice to this discussion!

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE for us all to engage in these decisions that impact us today and much longer into the future!
