To speed up the process, visit redcrossblood.org and enter "Shelburne" to make an appointment to give blood on February 28, 2018. Then click on "Shelburne Town Center" and a list of times will appear for you to book an appointment.

• The American Red Cross has a critical need for blood and platelet donors to give now to help address a winter blood donation shortage caused by severe winter weather in parts of the country and widespread flu.

• Right now, blood and platelet donations are being distributed to hospitals faster than they come in.

• Donors can help even more patients when they invite a loved one, friend or co-worker to give with them.
