Movie Night! Friday night at 7 p.m. Jericho UMC is hosting a showing of the 2014, Russell Crowe version of Noah.

We'll have some conversation after about how well it portrays the biblical story, or how poorly. The film is quite provocative in its portrayal, so even if you've seen it before, we hope you'll join us for what is an entertaining film and be open to seeing and hearing bits and nuances of the biblical story you may have missed before. Do you like the film, whether you're religious or not? Do you see God in it? Should Hollywood be given leeway in its filming biblical stories? Does creative license actually help flesh out the meaning of the stories?

It's a PG-13 film, with some violence and dark bits.
