Developing a Sense of Place through Waldorf Education
An evening discussion with David Sobel & Jennifer Kramer
Friday, March 9, 7-8pm; Free to all.
Orchard Valley Waldorf School, 2290 VT Route 14N, East Montpelier

Join David Sobel, a senior faculty member at Antioch University New England and author of Nature Preschools and Forest Kindergartens: The Handbook for Outdoor Learning, and Jen Kramer, a grades teacher in Guildford, VT with years of experience taking students beyond the walls of a classroom. Together, they will inspire and surprise parents with research and stories about immersing children in nature. Learn how the values of Waldorf education and outdoor learning are a powerful pairing, and build a toolbox of how to scale back the affects of our technological lives with the gifts of Mother Nature.
