Looking for something fun to do on President’s Day?
Come to the (Not My) President’s Day Expo on Monday, February 19, 5-7 p.m. at Allium in Waterbury. Sponsored by Indivisible Mad River Valley, the event will feature several organizations — Lean Left Vermont, Rights & Democracy, Women's March Vermont, The Stampede and others — plus you’ll earn chances to win great door prizes! There will be lots to learn and lots to do while we toast activists all over the country who are standing up against the current administration. Learn how textbanking is activating voters; write some postcards designed to motivate people in other states to register to vote; record a video testimonial; learn how youth are becoming engaged in their communities; bring your 1s and 5s to stamp out big money in politics (no worries—you get to keep your own stamped 1s and 5s!); and more. Each time you connect with one of our guests or participate in an activity, you'll receive a raffle ticket. At the end of the event, we'll combine all the tickets, then draw them one-by-one until our fabulous door prizes are gone!
Wear your best patriotic attire and come have some fun.
