Come to the Ukulele Shenanigan Jam Feb. 18!

Past event
Feb 18, 2018, 6 to 8 PM

What’s a ukulele shenanigan? It’s a ukulele jam, where we raise the rafters in song. Bring your uke, some fun tunes, your loudest Hawaiian shirt, and let’s play!

Ukulelians travel in herds, so let’s follow our natural instincts and get together, make some music, and expand the ukulele community. Bring some tunes that you feel comfortable leading (and that are easy for others to join in on), or download this handy Shenanigan packet [4mb pdf – includes chord chart] and we’ll start with them.

WHEN: Sunday, February 18, 6-8 p.m.
WHERE: The Old Post, a watering hole and restaurant at 733 Queen City Park Rd, South Burlington, VT. Visit The Old Post Facebook page for more information on the venue (https://www.facebook.com/OldPostVt/)
HOW this thing works: We’ll occupy one end of The Old Post and play to our hearts’ content.
— Download the latest Shenanigan packet of tunes here (4 mb pdf – includes chord chart): http://bit.ly/2F37nkm and bring it along. Print it out or view it on your mobile device of choice. Most of these tunes are fairly easy to follow without a chord sheet, especially if you can poach chords from other ukulelians.
— If you want to bring a tune, please make sure it’s one that others can readily follow without a song sheet. That means 3-5 basic chords. If you want to bring a few copies to share with others, that’s fine, too!

We’ll have a few slots for those who want to brave the stage and belt out their favorite tune, but mainly we’ll all be playing together and rattling the rafters.

Want more info? Drop me a line. If I don't hear from you, I'll see you there!
