If reviewing the proposed school budget sounds like a rotten way to spend an evening, think again! We are faced with some BIG budgeting challenges this year (reduced numbers of PreK through Gr.8 students, booming high school enrollment, & huge state-dictated tax increases... to name a few). But at the same time, our job is to provide our students with excellent learning opportunities as we prepare them for future success.

It is imperative that everyone in our community understands the budget — and can explain it to their neighbors — before they go to the polls in March.

Your School Board has been working hard to develop a budget that meets our students’ needs and the financial concerns of our tax-paying community (of which we are a part!) And while you are always welcome at our meetings, this is your last chance to ask questions, make suggestions, and let us know what’s important to you — before we present a final budget to the voters.
