Plainfield's Hazard Mitigation Committee will hold our regular third Thursday pubic meeting at 7 p.m. on February 15, 2018 - in the rear meeting room of the Town Clerk's office, back door.
The public is encouraged to attend. We welcome your participation in the Hazard Mitigation topics as we study possible threats to public safety (ie. HazMat spill on Rte. 2; emergency dam release during a high rainfall event; a flu pandemic, etc.) We will have future meetings on this topic on March 15 and during that following March weekend.
Our Agenda:
1. Review of draft Minutes from our January meeting (also posted on the PlainfieldHazard.com website).
2. Plainfield Hazard Mitigation Plan - update. Our hazard priorities have been identified. We will discuss incidents in each hazard area, and try to get a comprehensive history of hazard history.
The Plainfield Hazard Mitigation Plan must be updated by the end of March 2018.
