MORRISVILLE – “We can no longer satisfy our customers, we need to delight them – surpass their expectations,” says Carrie Gendreau, the presenter of the latest in the Lamoille Economic Development Corporation sponsored Basic Business Skills workshop series. This interactive seminar will explore the seven ways to provide “knock your socks off” service with each and every customer interaction. You will discover ways to make your customers feel important, transform complaints into valuable customer feedback, become a master in the art of listening, “out-service” your competitors, recognize the value of first impressions, understand that customers want an “experience,” earn customer trust, and be aware of how everyone is significant in providing customer service. In today’s business environment, your business needs every competitive edge it can get. Providing the BEST customer service is one very cost effective way of doing just that. Ms. Gendreau is a recognized expert in this area. She was born and raised in Littleton, NH where she still lives with her husband. She is a certified Dale Carnegie Course Instructor and is the owner of The Training Connection as well as Emma & Co. Consignment Boutique and has been an Adjunct Professor for 18 years at Granite State College. The workshop will take place on February 21st from 9 am to noon in the Community Room at Green Mountain Technology and Career Center in Hyde Park. The cost to attend is $49 and pre-registration is required. Please visit www.vtsbdc.org and click on TRAINING to register and pre-pay on line or email Vicki Blanchard at dblanchard@vtsbdc.org.
