We are hosting our first pop up dinner on Saturday February 17th! Alganesh Michael has cooked up Ethiopian feasts in Bristol, Waitsfield and at Arts Riot in Burlington and she is coming to RCK for one night only. All three seatings have completely sold out, but we have a limited number of take out meals available. Menu includes:
- Yesiga Wet (Spicy Beef) - Beef braised in spicy berbere*, onion, tomatoes, garlic, ginger and clarified butter
- Yemesser Alicha (Curry Lentil) - Split orange lentils cooked with onion, garlic, tomatoes and curry seasonings (mild spice)
- Gomen - (Chopped Collard Greens) - Collard Greens slow cooked with red onion celery, fresh tomatoes, garlic, ginger and jalapeño ( mild spice)
- Inguday Wet ( Spicy Mushroom) - Mushroom cooked with onion, tomatoes, spicy berbere*, garlic, ginger & herbs
All sauces are served with Injera, a spongy sourdough flatbread that is a staple in Ethiopia.
