Emma Schoenberg, a grassroots organizer for Rights and Democracy Vermont, will be speaking in St. Albans this Saturday, February 17, at the St. Albans Free Library from 10:30 until noon. Rights and Democracy Vermont was founded to build a movement to counter the influence on money in politics and to hold elected officials accountable. Rights and Democracy Vermont does grassroots organizing, educating and mobilizing around issues that affect communities, recruits and trains people to run for office and works through the electoral process to promote progressive policies.
