Yoga Nidra Tuesday February 13th 6-7pm with Mountain Rose Yoga & Acupuncture
Deep relaxation with this duo of Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) and acupuncture. Perfect to unwind and de-stress. All you have to do is show up and lay in savasana/rest pose. You will be led through Yoga Nidra, which is a form of deep healing, restoration and relaxation focusing on points within the body. $12 or a class card. 4 Week Hip & Yoga Workshop with Mountain Rose Yoga & Acupuncture Tuesday March 6th - 27th 5:30-7pm
This 4 weeks series will focus on strengthening and stretching the muscles of the hips and core to increase stability, flexibility and balance. In each class we will explore a group of muscles through myofascial release and yoga poses. This class is great for those who want to deepen their yoga practice & understanding of asanas in relation to hips; those new to yoga; and those who have an issue with their hips and would like to use yoga to strengthen this area of their body.

The 4 weeks will be broken down as follows: Abductors/Hip Stabilizers, Low Back & Psoas, Lower Gluteus Maximus & Hamstrings; and External Rotators of the Hip. $70 for the 4 classes & 30 minute yoga assessment & myofascial balls before February 23rd. After the 23rd of February it is $80. If you have myofascial balls it is $60 for the workshop (please let me know to sign up). Limited to 15 people. Ana del Rosal is a certified Yoga & Pilates Teacher and Licensed Acupuncturist. She has been teaching yoga since 2003 and focuses on proper alignment to ensure the student's safety throughout class. As well, she applies her knowledge of the body that she has learned through acupuncture and pilates when working with students and clients, this offers a unique and personalized experience for each student.
