The Central Vermont Food Systems Council is hosting its Winter Forum on Thursday Jan.16th, at 6pm in Montpelier's City Hall Arts Center (2nd floor of City Hall).

All those with an interest in eating healthy, local food are encouraged to attend. The Forum will open with an informal welcome, with soup and bread, followed by a presentation by Guido Masé on his recent book, “The Wild Medicine Solution: Healing with Aromatic, Bitter and Tonic Plants”. After this, attendees will break into working groups discussing Home Food Systems, Food Access/Education, and Food Hubs/Land Use Planning, to set the Council's goals for 2014 and identify steps to achieve them.

We'll need all the help we can get to transform our food system into something that is fair and sustainable, and we're excited to move towards those ideals with you on Thursday night!
