As a member of the Burlington Chamber Orchestra (BCO), I'd like to invite my South End neighbors to attend our concert this Saturday, January 18th at 7:30 at the McCarthy Arts Center at St. Michael's College. I am really excited to perform with my colleagues who are all outstanding Vermont-based professional musicians. I hope you will come out and show your support for your local professional orchestra; our audiences are always thrilled by how many of us they know and by how beautifully intimate and energetic we sound. The program features violinist Soovin Kim playing Mozart’s 5th Violin Concerto. We will also perform two invigorating Haydn Symphonies, #27 and #49 ("La Passione"), led by Karina Canellakis, an up and coming conducting superstar!

This particular concert kicks off a whole week of concerts called “A Classical Celebration of Community” featuring the Burlington Chamber Orchestra, Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival, Vermont Symphony Orchestra and the Vermont Youth Orchestra.
