Shabana Basij-Rasikh, author of the TED Talk "Dare to Educate Afghan Girls," will give a talk at Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier, Vt. She is an Afghan educator, humanitarian, and women's rights champion. She is the founder of Hela, Inc., whose mission is to empower Afghan women through education and the School of Leadership, Afghanistan, and has received worldwide recognition for her work.
