Montpelier History Talk Thursday Noon

The Pavilion Building is one of the most recognizable buildings in downtown Montpelier, but in the late 1960s it was almost demolished to make way for a modern office building. Come learn about the history of this important hotel and its rebirth as a state office building on Thursday, February 15, at noon at the Vermont History Museum in the Pavilion Building (of course). Paul Heller, history writer for the Times Argus, and Paul Carnahan, librarian of the Vermont Historical Society, will be the presenters.
