I just saw “The Vagina Monologues” by the Essex Community Players. Of course, I ran into my Shelburne neighbor there and friends from Colchester and someone I know from the UU Society in Burlington. Interestingly, the play has been updated for the #MeToo era, and I must speak up: men must take the initiative to end men’s violence against women.

Essex Community Players invites you to join us for our benefit production of Eve Ensler’s THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES. A play which dives into the mystery, humor, pain, power, wisdom, outrage and excitement in women’s experiences. on. 90% of performance proceeds will benefit Planned Parenthood of Northern New England and 10% will benefit the Spotlight Campaign: The Resistance.
