To all those who'd like to help shape the future of the Town

Past event
Feb 1, 9 AM to 9 PM, Feb 3, 2014

Greetings,

I'm writing to urge all of you who are interested in the future of the Town, and specifically the future of the Shelburne Road corridor and the land alongside it, to "save a date" on your calendars.

As you've been hearing over the last several months, a Shelburne-based steering committee is working with a team of consultants on a project to plan for the future of the corridor.

The steering committee, with help from the consultants, will be developing recommendations for refining the zoning regulations applicable to the corridor. If the project is to be successful, the steering committee and consultants NEED your ideas.

A series of interactive meetings is taking place from February 1st to February 3 in the Shelburne Town Hall.* The meetings, which will offer a variety of ways to provide input, are a great way for you to discuss important planning issues with your friends and neighbors.

To learn more about the project, please visit the Town's web site: http://www.shelburnevt.org/departments/1398.html . A detailed schedule for the Charrette will be posted soon.

And of course if you have any questions, please contact the Planning and Zoning Office.

Dean Pierce

* Please note: the Town hall is the historic building to which the library is connected, not the municipal office building. Formal and informal meetings will take place from morning until evening on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, meetings will take place from late afternoon and continue into the evening.
