Howard Hawks' 1940 film is thought by many critics to represent the high-water mark of the era's fast-paced and witty comedies. The source material was the play "The Front Page", set in the world of Chicago newspaper journalism. Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell Star as reporters and ex-romantic partners; she is persuaded to come back and cover one more big story. Introduction and discussion led by Rick Winston, co-founder of the Savoy Theatre.
