Just a week away! A week away
And Poetry People will come out to play.
With a piper piping and words to say
The evening is sure to be fun and gay.

So do not stall. Heed the call.
You're invited, big or small
To toss words round like a ball
Or just come listen, it doesn't matter at all.

Our first Rabbie Burns inspired night
It's sure to be a beautiful sight.
We're working hard to get it just right
But we need your voices for you are our might.

So Bring a friend and do not tarry
On the 21st night of this January
At the Varnum Memorial Library
From 7:00 to 8:30 pm come and be merry.

Beyond the Yellow Door to which this poem has lead
You'll find music, good company and words waiting to be said.
No Haggis alas but maybe a stuffed pumpkin instead
And of course Laurie's Oh So Yummy Chocolate Bread!
