Public Comments on Proposed 2018 Wallingford Town Plan
MONDAY: February 12, 2018 7:00 PM
Location: Wallingford Town Hall (2nd floor)
1. Chair calls meeting to order.
2. Additions or deletions to proposed agenda
3. Approval of 10 October and 8 January 2018 minutes
4. Call the Public Hearing of the proposed Wallingford Town Plan to order.
5. Introduction and Outline of Hearing Procedures:
a) Introduction the PC members
b) Anyone present at the Hearing who wishes to be recognized should sign the Attendance Roster.
c) Explain the purpose of this PC Public Hearing as part of the legal Town Plan adoption process:
i. To update the Town Plan to include VT required issues.
ii. To receive input from the Public and answer questions.
d) Outline the participation Procedures:
i. Raise hand and be recognized by the CHAIR before speaking.
ii. Speak loud enough for all to hear.
iii. STATE YOUR NAME and residency for the Record.
iv. Direct all questions and statements to the PC members. No “discussions” with others in the room.
v. Limit your testimony to FIVE MINUTES (5+/-) per issue and respect the Chair’s instructions.
vi. Read any written comments and submit a copy to the Chair.
6. Open the floor for discussion
7. Request any Final comments or Questions for anyone in attendance.
8. Outline future proceedings.
i. PC will review the comments presented at the Public Hearing, make changes and adjustments if necessary to the draft Town Plan and then take a vote to present the draft to the Select Board or hold second public hearing with changes.
