9:00 - 10:00 am
The theme of the winter conference of the Vermont chapter of the Northeast Organic Farming Association is "Organic Matters," and we preview the ways organic food and farming matter with conference organizer Kim Mercer, organic dairyman Jack Lazor of Butterworks Farm, and Rural Vermont’s Graham Unangst-Rufenacht on the rural conversations they’ve hosted around the state. (Plus, perhaps, a special guest whose family name is well known to people interested in sustainable agriculture.)
