This Saturday! Deep Winter Storytelling Community Event
Saturday, February 10, 4:30-7pm.
Plainfield Opera House. Free family friendly event!
Join us for a cozy, heart warming evening at the Plainfield Opera House. Enjoy a community potluck followed by uplifting nature inspired folktales of hope and renewal. This is the perfect time of year to gather and share stories that resonate with the natural rhythms of the returning light. Experience a warm, glowing and inviting space and feel free to bring comfy blankets, pillows and slippers.
*please bring your own place settings, along with a potluck dish to share.

This Sunday! Teen Winter Wildlife Tracking
Sunday, February 11, 10am-4pm in Hawthorn Meadow on Goddard College campus
$25, ages 13-17.
Join with other teens, hiking into the forest and fields and along the river, learning to read the stories of the land, following tracks and sign of fox, fisher, turkey, otter and more. Northeast Kingdom Teen Winter Adventure
Thurs-Sat, March 1-3. Ages 13-17
$250 includes room & board, but not transportation
The NorthWoods Stewardship Center in Charleston, Vermont will be our home for two nights and three days. We will head out on skis or snowshoes to explore the great north woods and build quinzhee huts for shelter (option to sleep in the quinzee, or in the heated bunk house). Practice outdoor skills such as; fire-by-friction; outdoor cooking and wildlife tracking, with plenty of time for craft projects around the fire.
