Forestry Workshop: Cut with Confidence: A successful timber harvest starts with you: Feb 24, March 3 and March 10 from 1PM to 3PM

This series of three workshops(2-24,3-3,3-10) will help landowners better understand the “ins and outs” of a successful timber harvest in your woods. Register for one, two, or all three workshops. Each workshop will visit different active harvest on the Evans Tree Farm in Derby, offering participants three different options to explore varying harvest operations. Participants will gain increased understanding of how to set up a successful harvest and the responsibilities of those involved. Discussion will cover contracts, silviculture and everything in between. All workshops will be held from 1PM to 3PM at the Evans Tree Farm, 600 Schuler Road in Derby.
