The Poor People's Revival, a benefit for the Poor People's Campaign!!
Ali Dineen, Feral Foster, and Marygoround perform a house show at 82 East Hill Road, Plainfield, VT for the Poor People's Campaign! Doors at 6 pm, Show starts at 7 pm. $6 suggested donation.
New York City born-and-raised musicians Feral Foster and Ali Dineen join forces to bring you folk, blues, gospel and county that will keep the fire stoked during their February 2018 Tour of the northeast. They will perform solo sets of their original folk music, as well as a duet performance of their favorite gospel, blues and country songs.
Marygoround, Queen of the Mardi Maigre (Skinny Tuesday), has been performing locally and internationally for over a decade. With an accordion and music largely from her New Orleans jazz and performance world, she has been a musician in The End of The World Circus and many other touring performances. It's pretty classy that Mary will play the Mardi Maigre for the Poor People's Campaign this year. Get it?
This event is part of The Grassroots School series hosted by Vermont Climate Union and the Vermont New Poor People's Campaign. Please check out the calendar at: https://www.poorpeoplescampaignvt.org/calender/
