If you'd like to know more about Christine Hallquist, who recently announced plans to run for governor of Vermont, come to a free screening of "Denial" on Monday, Feb 5 at 6:30 pm at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier (130 Main St.).

"Denial" is a documentary that examines the gender identity struggles of VT Electric Coop CEO David Hallquist through the prism of climate change, a problem which Hallquist is passionate about solving. In the course of the film's production, Hallquist transitions from David to Christine. Christine spent decades denying her gender identity much as our society has spent decades denying the reality of climate change. The showing will be followed by refreshments and a discussion. All welcome.
