Channel 17/Town Meeting TV, Seven Days, and the Champlain Valley League of Women Voters (CVWLC) are hosting a live election forum of the Burlington mayoral candidates on Monday, February 5, 2018, from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Contois Auditorium in Burlington’s City Hall.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a public reception, hosted by the League of Women Voters. The League will have a voter registration table for newcomers to Burlington. The Mayoral Candidates Forum will be moderated by Seven Days news editors Matthew Roy and Sasha Goldstein, and will be broadcast live starting at 7:15 p.m. by Channel 17 (cable and website) and on YouTube:https://youtu.be/QlCr4QjGUVA.

Candidates will be asked to answer questions -- about issues that matter to Burlington residents, and to share their visions for the future of the city -- that have been submitted to website prior to the event www.bit.ly/askbtvcandidates -- or on site via notecards that will be provided.
