A winter treat: weekly Friday morning pop ups at Tandem continue at 26 Main Street Bristol. 7 am - Noon

Have you had a chance to stop in for coffee, pastries and fresh bread on your way to work or school?

V Smiley and Brooke Wilcox (V Smiley Preserves & Coop to Kitchen Bakery) are at Tandem starting at 7 am with coffee from Brio Coffeeworks (you can pick up Brio beans for home brewing too), a rotation of pastries (cardamom buns, apple cheddar scones, cornmeal almond biscotti, or pop tarts filled with honey sweetened goodness from V Smiley Preserves like Sour Cherry & Quince), V’s organic yogurt with preserves or Brooke’s granola (more nuts, less oats and maple/honey sweetened!), simple toasts with traditional marmalade or jams that bring you back to summer, and for a deeper cut, order a savory toast stacked with cheese from Fairy Tale Farm, fresh vegetables and a soft boiled egg. Take bread and jars of jam for the weekend.

Meet a friend at the long tables of Tandem for a french press of coffee or tea or if you are in a hurry, take everything to go. V and Brooke are there till noon every Friday morning through March.
