Imbolc Labyrinth Walk
Friday, February 2, 2018
6 – 7 PM
Pope Library Community Building
Rt. 2, Danville, Vermont

Imbolc is the time of Mid-Winter, when the world underground begins to stir and the world above ground may feel intensely long and heavy. The light-hours are extending ever so gradually, and Mother Earth is responding. This is a powerful time to walk the path of balance, reflecting on where we have come and where we are in this moment.

This is an indoor floor labyrinth created from a sail boat sail. It was obtained by a friend who worked with me to re-shape it and another friend stitched it together. The 7-circuit path was painted onto the cloth. The elements of air (breath) and water (emotions) are inherent in this labyrinth.

As this labyrinth holds 2 or 3 people at a time, comfortably, I invite us to hold a space of silence for those who are walking. Soft music will be in the background.
