Farmers Night Concert To Feature Eleva Chamber Players
The Eleva Chamber Players, Central Vermont’s only professional string chamber orchestra (and based in Duxbury/Waterbury), will present a free concert on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 7:30 PM at the Vermont State House in Montpelier as part of the Farmers Night Concert Series. The program will include works by Mozart, John Rutter, Michael Close and some tantalizing tangoes. Admission is free.
The Eleva Chamber Players was established in April of 2006 in Waterbury, Vermont with the mission of elevating the human spirit through music. Eleva’s concerts feature fine musicianship and fascinating dialogue that is both educational and inspiring. The conductor-less orchestra is composed of professional musicians with distinguished international careers from throughout Vermont and the Northeastern United States. In addition to its annual November concerts, Eleva has conducted concert tours of Vermont wineries and house concerts around the country.
