We can no longer take clean water for granted in Vermont. Across the state, pollution has impaired many of our waterways, some of which no longer meet basic water quality standards. If you want to take action, attend the Vermont Clean Water Day on Thurs., Feb. 22nd in Montpelier from 10AM to 4PM. Come and celebrate our lakes, ponds, rivers, streams and wetlands, and call on lawmakers to invest in cleaning up and protecting our waterways. This is a great opportunity to hear from respected Vermont water advocates and then meet with your lawmaker to share your perspective on why it’s important to invest in clean water.
