North Branch Nature Center's next Naturalist Journey speaker is Josh Halman, Forest Health Specialist with Vermont Dept. of Forests, Parks and Recreation. The timing of budbreak in spring and development of fall color depend on light and temperature. As climate changes, this timing is likely to change, and we have already seen impacts in Vermont! Josh presents findings from 25 years of monitoring forest trees and plant life in the state.
