The Turning Point Center of Chittenden County, the largest addiction/substance use disorder recovery center in VT (see this great article in Seven Days (https://www.sevendaysvt.com/vermont/turning-point-center-fights-addiction-with-crafts-and-co[...]369) is partnering with the Say it Forward non-profit group, who donated their services, for a "Moth" like event on Feb. 1st called "Telling on Ourselves- Stories of Humor and Hope".
The show promises memorable tales, both funny and powerful, about the trials and tribulations of hope and recovery in all its manifestations. The storytellers will be accompanied with live music by “The Brevity Thing,” featuring Dave Ball on guitar, Steve Goldman on bass, Jom Hammack on mandolin and Sue Schmidt on drums.
February 1st, Show begins at 7pm
Black Box Theatre – 60 Lake Street, Burlington
Tickets are $30 each or $50/2
All proceeds to benefit the center's Yoga program (free to all)
