Central Vermont's women's a cappella chorus, the Barretones, is holding it's next Guest Night on Monday, January 29. Women of all ages and musical ability are welcome to join in on the fun beginning at 6:45 p.m. at the Capital City Grange, 6612 VT Route 12 in Montpelier. Carpools may be available upon request.
The 30+ members of the Barretones chorus perform music in the barbershop style. Attending guest night is a great opportunity to meet women from across central VT and learn about this unique style of performing. Music reading ability is not necessary, though a good singing voice is required. The Barretones have been chartered in Barre since 1969 and meet each Monday at the Capital City Grange from 7:00-9:30 p.m. Call 802-552-3489 for additional information.
