Chittenden County Opera Lovers and Pierson Library will present a talk and discussion on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 2:30 pm. Come to the library and join the conversation as we prepare for a new production of the classic Tosca by Giacomo Puccini. We will review the music and historical themes, as well as the background for the current presentation by the Metropolitan Opera to be simulcast in movie theaters on January 27. It is the third design of a new setting for Tosca at the Met in less than ten years. This time, will they get it right? The discussion will be led by Shelburne resident Toni Hill.
