Come explore texture captured in clay! This workshop is designed for children and welcomes the young at heart, as together we will play with this malleable medium. Parents are encouraged to work alongside their children in this fun for all ages art activity.

Participants will learn how to construct simple slab creations with intricate surface design created by modeling and stamping impressions in soft clay. All projects will be fired and glazed, finished pottery will be food safe. Collect objects with texture to bring along to the Green Table to be used while creating your unique piece.

This workshop will be conducted by ceramic artist and local educator Cara Lee DeAngelo.
