Village Center Designation: What Does It Mean For My Business?
FREE Workshop featuring Caitlin Corkins, Tax Credits & Grants Coordinator, Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development
Thursday, January 25th, 6:00 p.m.
Community Room, Brown Public Library

Have you heard? Northfield has two "Designated Village Centers" that you probably visit every day. Property owners and businesses (including tenants) located in the Village Centers have access to resources, including historic tax credits, code improvement credits, technology credits; priority consideration for Agency of Commerce and Community Development, VTrans and Agency of Natural Resources grants and incentives; and more.

This inaugural workshop in the NCDN Community Empowerment Series invites Caitlin Corkins of the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development to de-mystify what it means to have your property or business located in the Village Center. Property owners, business owners (including tenants), and interested Northfielders are invited to attend this FREE workshop.

Bring your questions--learn how to make Village Center designation work for you and your business, and how it can help attract new businesses and build vitality in downtown Northfield and Northfield Falls.

To view the Northfield Village Center and Northfield Falls Village Center boundaries, go to http://maps.vermont.gov/ACCD/PlanningAtlas/index.html?viewer=PlanningAtlas

The Community Empowerment Series is presented by the Northfield Community Development Network (NCDN).
