North Country Animal League presents Menagerie Goes Honky Tonk, on Saturday February 3rd, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Stoweflake Resort on the Mountain Road in Stowe. The reservation deadline is Friday, January 26. The event sold out last year.
It's NCAL's 19th annual Menagerie with traditional live and silent auctions, a raffle, live music and dancing to the the music of Hot Pickin’ Party, mechanical bull rides, and more. Costumes or creative dress is always encouraged but never required. The ticket - $100 per person - covers hors d’oeuvres, a delicious seated buffet-style bbq dinner, cash bar and even bull rides (mechanical, of course!)
NCAL’s Menagerie is a top source of revenue, allowing NCAL to offer a broad range of programs throughout the year, including pet adoptions, sheltering of homeless animals, humane education and community outreach, spay/neuter programs, emergency medical intervention for homeless animals, and the support of cruelty prevention. These programs save the lives of homeless animals and promote a community culture of compassion towards all beings.
