Come and support the Craftsbury Middle and High School students presenting the play, “The Audition” by Don Zolidis, Sat, 1/20, 7 PM. A great opportunity for the kids to express themselves in different ways!
From the Craftsbury teacher / director:
“It is a one-act play about auditions for a High School play. It spotlights a few of the students’ stories and intertwines them with comic vignettes featuring awkward audition practices and typical high school issues you may see. It ranges from a popular and talented girl, Carrie, who has a not so good Mom, to a bullied girl named Soliel who finds her true home on the stage, as well as many other characters who have their own fun and unique stories.”
“ I am working with nineteen actors, three stage managers, and two stage hands. A total of 24 students involved from grades 7-12. I have more than enjoyed working and seeing the joy of theatre come alive in each of the kids. It’s a learning experience for them as well as myself. This is my first time directing such a big show. I am more than honored to work with such talented students.
