The best scientific information suggests Climate Change will negatively.impact people worldwide. There have been many Climate Change discussions and advocacy events in the state and region but I do not believe we have had a local gathering dedicated to Climate Change. The recent series of posts on this Forum concerning Climate Change was impressive for their number and apparent interest/knowledge. Continuing that discussion at a local gathering would be valuable to increase resident understanding of the issue and actions we might take to address it.

What: Local Climate Change Gathering
Date:: February 22, 2018
Time : 6:30 to 8:00 PM
Place Old Schoolhouse Common in Marshfield Village
Purpose: 1) Update status of Climate Change, physical changes occuring
2) Resident beliefs and discussion to increase the understanding of the issue
3) Resident discussion to identify action items that the town/school and residents could take to slow Climate
Change. This would include discussion of the Climate Change article on the Town Meeting warning
