On Sunday, January 21 at 4:30 pm at St. John’s Episcopal Church, our Unitarian Universalist Fellowship has invited Sky Yardley and Jane Dwindle. Sky was diagnosed with “probable early stage Alzheimer’s disease” in the summer of 2016. He had been showing signs of memory loss since 2012, most significantly since 2015. He was 66 when he was diagnosed. Jane was 62. During their talk they will speak about how this diagnosis affects them on a day-to-day basis and how they seek to meaningfully participate in life and in society despite this disability.
You are welcome to join us for refreshments after the service.
