Sock Hop Feb. 3 benefits Legion Auxiliary
Harry N. Cutting American Legion Auxiliary Unit 59 will host a Sock Hop fundraiser on Saturday, Feb 3, at the American Legion Post, 16 Stowe St., Waterbury.
Doors will open at 6pm. Don Sachette, DJ will entertain with music from the 1950's to the 1970's from 7 to 11pm
People are welcome to wear clothes from the sock hop era such as poodle skirts, and the Post 59 Malt Shoppe will sell burgers, hot dogs, shakes and snacks.
Admission is by a $10. donation to benefit the Auxiliary's scholarship and veterans programs.
