Stowe Nordic's Moonlight Ski is ON for Tuesday night. These events are open to everyone and are appropriate to all abilities and ages. Weather is forecasted to be mild with a few light snow showers to make everything nice and white – perfect weather for an evening ski. Dress for the weather and you may want to bring a headlamp.
With the exception of a few spots (which we will avoid) the Rec Path is in good shape for an evening ski. Meet in the Sushi Yoshi parking lot (1128 Mountain Rd) and depart at 6pm. Our ski will go out the Rec Path to just beyond Luce Hill where there is a nasty, icy washout that needs more snow to be skiable. Then we will turn around and ski back, where Sushi Yoshi will treat us to free appetizers (beverages and/or dinner is on you).
