There's a nasty flu bug that's been going around and you do not want to get it! It's not too late to sign up for the Boosting the Immunity class Tuesday evening at the Waterbury Library. If you've enjoyed the holidays a bit too much with the feasting, sweets and imbibing, then this class can be a game changer. We know that sugar wreaks havoc on the immune system, causing inhibition and therefore susceptibility to those nasty viruses and bacteria. Well the holiday season isn't just a cookie here or a drink there, it is a two to three week long, often continuous opportunity for falling "off the wagon" so to speak. Cathy Dodge has devoted her life to the innate wisdom of the use of plants in healing. She is the Director of Healing Leaves Center in Williston; is a herbal nutritionist and health coach. Come to the library from 6:30- 8 O'Clock to learn about how to rebuild and strengthen your immune system naturally. The class is free, but if you want to take home an herbal tea, bring $5.00 to cover the cost of materials. Register at 244-7036.
