Dummerston Historical Society Annual Meeting

Past event
Jan 18, 2018, 7 to 9 PM

Please join us for the Historical Society's Annual Meeting and Program: "GROWING UP IN DUMMERSON, REMEMBERING OUR ROOTS, this Thursday, January 18th, at the Society's Schoolhouse in Dummerston Center next to the Town Office. Business meeting at 7 pm with election of officers followed by program at 7:30 pm.

Dummerstonians of any age are invited to share their reminiscences of growing up in our lovely town. Reminiscences are one of the most fun ways of learning and transferring historical information from generation to generation and to share experiences with those who did not have the privilege of "Growing up in Dummerston". The Historical Society is handicapped accessible and open to all. One does not need to be a member to attend.

The RAFFLE drawing will also be this night. In case you missed it, the Historical Society is raising funds to paint the exterior of the building. Prizes include 2 one half gallons of maple syrup, donated by Steven White, and Debbie and Dennis Baker, a $50 gift certificate for flea/tick medication from VT-NH Vet Clinic, a $50 gift certificate from Walker Farm, a drawing entitled "Ode to Miller Road" by artist Linda Rubinstein, and a pottery bowl created by artist Ahren Ahrenholz of Partridge Road Pottery. Tickets are 3 for $5 and can be purchased at the meeting or by contacting Jody Normandeau at 254-9037 or Gail Sorenson at 254-9311.
