BREATH, BALANCE & BE

This class will focus on conscious breathing as you move through exercises that promote postural restoration, flexibility, balance, core strength, and relaxation. Participants will be guided through slow controlled movements where mindful breathing is practiced. This class will use different props ( pillows, balls, blankets, chairs) to assist with the exercises. As you become aware of your breath and work with it, you make a direct link to your autonomic nervous system which controls blood pressure, metabolism, digestion, heart rates, etc. Conscious breathing is both regenerative and restorative. This new class will meet on Tuesdays from 8:15am-9:15 am at Vergennes Movement.
